For lots of people, getting several alpacas as quickly as possible is the best way to reach your income goal as soon as possible. But if you’re stuck with paying cash up front, the number of alpacas you can afford may be far less than you could have with good financing and affordable monthly payments.
At Howling Hill Ranch, we offer low-rate financing with terms up to 24 months and a deposit of only 25%. And, instead of an interest rate, we use a very low finance fee which is $1.50 per $1,000 financed, times the number of months in the term of your agreement.
In other words, after paying your deposit, if you were to finance $20,000 for say 24 months, your finance fee would be $1.50 Xs 20 Xs 24, or $720. The fee is then added to the amount financed so, in this example, you would be paying off $20,720 in 24 monthly payments of $863.33. No interest plus prime, variables or any other complicated figuring - just a simple finance fee. And it is certainly less than the best rates offered by most lending institutions!
